the BLACKsheep
Originally from the South Side of Chicago, Domino is a retired combat veteran who has long found refuge and release in writing. Shaped by hardship, she shares a perspective rooted in faith, survival, and hope.
Though initially drawn to podcasting, she experienced a traumatic brain injury that temporarily impaired her speech—ultimately leading her back to her first love: writing.
A former Crisis Counselor and Peer Support Specialist, she carries forward the heart of that work by giving voice to the hidden struggles of trauma. Her writing draws upon Scripture, applying ancient wisdom to modern challenges through real-world insight rather than rigid dogma.
Through W.O.B., she extends compassion and understanding to women without a trusted support system—those often misunderstood, shunned, or outcast. Whether starting over after harmful relationships or moving beyond childhood trauma, she advocates for women as they rebuild, rise beyond shame, and walk boldly in their God-given dignity.
In her free time, she finds joy in riding motorcycles and expresses herself as a multi-disciplinary artist, weaving freedom and creativity through various forms while dividing her time between the U.S. and South Africa.
